Basic Summation of Germania's 1st Fall Hunt.

Germania Fall Hunt 2004

by Beatrix Godwinson

As part of this year’s Gemania Aznodul Harvest Festival, I organized our first annual Fall Hunt. This scavenger hunt spanned the entire weekend of October 1-3, and had nine people sign up for this first go-round. Each day, there were four clues, each with a different level of difficulty. The graphic representation of our prey were scattered about Ancient Worlds, everywhere from Brennos Belgae, a Viking in the RP group “Pirate’s Guild” (Clue: While this Viking is not of Germania, he is a proud warrior none the less. Try looking for him with others that sail the seas.) to the great tree of Yggdrasil (Clue: An ash of great importance to Germanic and Norse mythology. It’s graphic representation can be found on the main page of one of Germania’s groups.).

Porciae Porcius was the winner of our contest, and received a wonderful plaque for her home, designed by Germania’s own Aelfwine Scylding, who also designed a very nice participation plaque. Once again, thanks go out to Aelfwine, everyone who was kind enough to host our prey at their homes, and Desdemona Eurimedon, who was kind enough to design a logo for the contest. I hope to have the same cooperation and much greater participation for our Yule Fest Hunt.
