The role of women in ancient Egypt: everyday life, and the nobility
Welcome to Women of the Two Lands. Please join us for a discussion on the role of women in ancient Egypt. In Egyptian society, women typically had more say and social freedom than they did in other contemporary cultures. In this Group, we will discuss these roles, the nature of family life, events and legalities affecting women. We will also consider those women who found their way to positions of power and importance in the Two Lands of Egypt.

Both men and womenare welcome to join our group.

Some of our leaders are on temporary hiatus. Some are currently administrating other groups or working in distant lands. Although group activity may be slow or at times quiet, you are still more than welcome to join WotTL and contribute. For additional information, just send a scroll to Sahirnee. She is currently overseeing our roster.
