Private dwelling, temple and office: the Roman home combined elements of all three functions
Ancient Roman private homes, particularly those remains extant in the ruins of Pompeii, are models of gracious living, combining some of the finest elements of art and nature.

We'll explore the domus and villa, room by room, and attempt to reconstruct the daily life of the ancient Romans at home.
