Welcome to the sleepy summertime edition of the Acta Diurna!

After the long winter, it's a firmly-established AW tradition that everyone goes outside from roughly mid-May and doesn't go back online until the doldrums of July, so this edition, brought to you by our hard-working editors, is laid back, lightly newsy, frivolous, and fun. We'll all get serious again in late summertime! But for the moment, simply enjoy the news 'n notes of what the Eight Worlds are up to, and make a note of what you may wish to do in the months to come. As always, we'll take a 'summer break' after this edition of the ACTA: the next edition will be September's, when everyone is back in the "ancient history" mood, having had their fill of summertime sun and 'beach reads!
