Happy 2008 my fellow Egyptians!

It's hard to believe that this is officially my third year as the Egyptian Editor. I love this job and I thank all of you for allowing me to continue on. The new year has certainly been interesting for me, and I hope all of you at the very least are not bored. ;-)

Establishing the Celestial Cow While most of Egypt sat under warm blankets and perhaps by a blazing fire, we managed to have a grand time by Establishing the Celestial Cow. This celebration was a masterpiece, not only was it enjoyable and informative, but also visual perfection. While it's too late to claim prizes, it's not too late to send a Celestial Cow card, decorate your own Celestial Cow to share on the boards for fun, check out the gift shop, or take (my personal favorite) the tour of Where in the West Bank? It was challenging, educational, lovely and downright fun. It made me go, "huh?" and think. Check it out for yourselves. The celebration was well planned, well executed and just a very good time!

Egypt is Getting a Facelift!

In November we got new Scribes and with new Scribes come new ideas. Now Egypt's home board is getting a face lift. I'm sure it will be worth the wait. If you would like to get in on the planning and share your thoughts, go here.

Rumor Has It

...that Seme and AER have a Bast celebration planned for March. However, there are no details as of this publication. It's long awaited and I hope we finally get to celebrate..hint..hint.
