On a warm, spring day

She was a mother no more.

She came to the swollen banks of the river, desperate for some relief from her grief. Lupa knew not what she intended, hadn't thought past the need for solitude.

As she contemplated the swirling waters of Tiberinus, she heard a sound off in the distance. It was the cry of an infant. Another joined the first and Lupa raised her head. Had this been a gift from the gods?

Do you:

* Follow the sound to the infants.
* Ignore them and go about drowning your sorrow-literally.
* Scream at the little-noise makers to be quiet so you can contemplate your fate.
