VALENTINE WEDDING BASH

Come and join us for the wedding bash of the year!
Attila the Hun is quite a ladies man and has decided
to get quite a few brides this February.
His mega wedding will be celebrated on the
9th of
February.
This ceremony will of course be followed by a
reception ball that people from all the lands will
attend.
During the wedding bash a mass wedding will also be
held, in which all the supercouples of Ancient Worlds
will be able to finally "make things legal" and tie the knot.
Amalasuntha, Elgiva, Anarane, Elenwe, Drokka, Alanna &
Gisele are on the hunt for husbands, so watch out men.
They are out to get you!
Alongside our mega wedding celebration a great
Valentine's Quiz will be presented, but with a twist.
This will not be your run of the mill boring old
Valentine's Quiz, this is
The Valentines Fat, Bald & Ugly Quiz-Germanic Style. So keep your eyes open and don't miss it. Also, there will be jigsaw puzzles to do, and information on Valentine's Etiquette.
There will, of course, be plenty of horse sacrifices and presents handed out. It is after all Attila who is getting married and the man is mad, likes to kill
horses and needs to use his sword and this is a
perfect occasion for it.
So be there or be prepared to be plundered for not attending.
YULE 2007
Well, we hope you enjoyed our Yule festival this year! Events were celebrated on December 21-23rd.
Members were able to give each other gifts through Klandestine Kris Kringle. This year we a had new event as well, the nod to St. Lucia called Pimp My Goat where one could choose a blank template of a goat and dress it up as creatively as one wanted! Site cash was awarded by judges to:
- First Place Winner: TaysatWesir Amenhotep
- Second Place Winner: Zahrah Kaundinya
- Tied for Third Place: Elgiva Godwinson & Varius Cicero
In addition, Amalasuntha agreed to act as our St. Lucia and made plenty of bread and ale to go around. Other events included a delicious Recipe Swap and a Viking Treasure Hunt. Winners in that event were:
- First Place: Winifred Waetling
- Second Place: Elena Curius
- Third PLace: Elgiva Godwinson

GERMANIC NEIGHBORHOODS - A REPORT
The Scandinavian Hood and Anglo-Saxon England have been built up even more! Over the years many people have spent time and a lot of energy creating these hoods, but the new scribes and others have recently worked overtime sprucing up the main pages and building new districts for members to move into. But we want to acknowledge Zora Cherusci, Elenwe Yngling, Elgiva Godwinson, Catherine Grafeldr, Fedelm Cruithni, Fornori Chattian, Adain Blatand, Topiltzin Tupac, Attila The Hun, Odin Knudsson, Harald Egilson, Anarane Burgundian, Dagmar Sigurdsson, and Bree Burgundian for all the work they have done.
Every Realm in Scandinavia has gotten new Cities for members to move into! New livable areas in Scandinavia include:
Kärringsjön, Lödöse, Skedemosse, Lund, Baffin Island, Brattahild, Cork, Danelaw, Dublin, Faeroe Islands, Gardar, Isle of Man, Jarlshof, Markland, Orkney Islands, Reykjavik, Hedeby, Hodde, Illerup, Jelling, Roskylde, Trelleborg, Bålagards-sida, Kyöpelinvuori, Porvoo/Borgå, Tuonela, Turku/Åbo, Väinölä, Bergen, Hordalag, Nidaros, Ostfold, Trøndelag, Vestfold, Helgö, Sigtuna, and Uppsala.
WHEW! So please take the time to go over and see the hard work these workers have done. It is wonderful!
The other hood which got additions is Anglo-Saxon England. Elenwe and Elgiva Godwinson have spent time in Essex refitting the main page and building up Colchester. A fantastic job, Ladies!!
