World's Shortest Fairy Tale

The Thoth Review And World Report
Happy Holidays my fellow Egyptians!
Some of our devoted readers have probably been asking themselves if we missed a month of the Acta and they would be correct. :-) The powers that be felt we all might be hung over from Goldfest and it was decided we would have a December edition instead, which is a good thing as far as Egypt is concerned as a lot has been happening and is going to happen. So without further ado....here we go!
Goldfest
The Egyptian Goldfest was a wonderful thing. Beginning with the planning and onward, I saw new life being breathed into Egypt, and relished in seeing Egypt being nurtured again and watching it come back to life! Our Goldfest was centered around the Amarna period and not only housed some fabulous articles, and a quiz I failed miserably at (but supposedly helped write), but also birthed two new hoods which are spotlighted in this Acta.
Goodbye and Hello
Sadly, Egypt bid goodbye to our fabulous Scribe Asenath. I will miss her more than I can say. She was fabulous in her position and I remember thinking I felt sorry for the Scribes who had to fill her big ol' beautiful shoes. Well, the powers that be here at AW made sure we have some awesome new Scribes who I believe are up to the task of big shoe filling.
Our new Scribes are some lovely and helpful women. I'm sure if you ever need their help you can just send out an SOS, and please feel free to welcome them.
Egyptian Celebration!
Get out your party hats, Egypt! It is time to Establish the Celestial Cow. It is a time for thanks and for giving. The events are planned for December 29-31st and are still in the planning process; if you would like to join in please visit the planning board. It promises to be a lot of fun, where else can you decorate a Celestial Cow? There is also a writing contest, a gift quiz and among other things, an Avatar Ball and much more. Join us if you can :-)
