A citizen of the Regia community in the upper part of the plebeian people.

A plebeius ingenuus must have been an AncientWorlds patron, have 7,500 sestertii in his/her cashbox, or have been moved up sometime by a consul or the Amicus Principis. A plebeius ingenuus is eligible to vote for a consul within his/her class but like electoral votes, whatever the majority of the plebeii ingenui vote for counts as only 4 total votes in any election. A plebeius ingenuus must have a patrician patron as his/her mentor. A plebeius ingenuus can get into any position up to 5 fasces. In role-playing, a plebeius can speak 1 native language + the number of fasces (level) he/she has been appointed. A plebeius will automatically be demoted one class if he or she does not post at least monthly.
