I'm proposing a roleplay scenario based on this What If scenario presented in the Rath.

The basic premise for my proposal is that we roleplay this 'what if' story line. Its not that large of a stretch. We'd have to change history a mite.......say the Gauls' never did attack and burn Rome in 387 BC. That event impacted the Roman psyche far more than many realized and led to Rome's only excursion into anything remotely like genocide almost 400 years later. So if that didn't happen, Rome's attention most likely would have stayed closer to home and faced the Mediteranean. This would have allowed Gaul to develop a more sophisticated and stratified society.

We would try to keep this as historically correct as we can, using our basic premise. The neat thing though is this premise allows a whole breadth of new ideas....because we are creating a whole new world based on a historical model. I propose also having at least one, maybe more (depending on how we grow..if we do)thread for discussions. So when someone takes too large a leap of faith, others can call them down on it and make them defend their large step. So folks are forced to learn while they play! A win/win situation! Whatcha guys think? Anyone interested?
