Epicurus Festivity
Created by: * Nikolaos Cleomenes, subeditdate
The Philo Sophia Group honours Epicurus and his school this summer. Be a part of it!
Epicurus Festivity.
Abstract:
The present festivity of the Philos Sophias group introduces Epicurus and his
doctrine named after him as Epicureanism. Epicurus assisted in maximum the construction
of the intellectual foundations of modern science and the secular individualism.
Numerous of his philosophical characteristics throughout history of men kind
highlighted strongly philosophical thought. From Diogenes Laertius (early second
century A.C.) to Lactantius (a Christian critic) and contemporary theory of
Marx and the post-Morden thought, Epicurus thought still survives.
We are going to discuss, chat, question our knowledge and write about a great
mind of sensualism and secularism.
