Abdication

Ladies and germs, this is harder for me than you will ever know.
As of right now, I am effectively abdicating my position as co-Jarl of Hugrunar. The reasons are numerous, and I shan't go into ALL of them here, but suffice it to say that I have other matters in my own "lands" as Brehyrion of the Brigantes that MUST take precedence over my beloved second home in Germania.
I have treasured everymoment I spent in these hallowed halls, and I have found the Germanic personas to be warm, effusive, and downright scholarly. I thank all of you who voted me into this position in the first place, and those of you who did, please know that I have noly been honored so at one other time in my AS/AW career (that being when I was voted in as Brehyrion of my tribe).
As a real-life Scandinavian, I was one of the most vocal proponents of bringing back Hugrunar to the AW community. Now, I must take my leave. I feel as though I've let some of you down - the ones who posted here regularly, and who looked to their Jarl for leadership that simply wasn't there. Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa. You deserve better, my combrogii.
Therefore, I leave you in the capable hands of Merlin the Mad. Give 'em hell, Merl.
