In keeping with Hapshetsut Nebet's and NetHetepu Narmer's recent posts in the Council Chamber, this book may be of use to anyone trying to understand the Atenist movement. It contains a good review of events during Amunhotep III that laid the foundation for the whole revolution. I don't agree with all of what Budge says (does anyone know of anyone else who says that Atenism involved human sacrifice?), but generally Budge backs up his theories with facts.

This book would be especially useful to anyone who can read hieroglyphics as it presents hymns to Amun and Aten with English below so you could make your own decision how you want to translate the passages.
