Whatever happens, don't believe them if they tell you naumachiae were held in the Colosseum because they weren't. It's too small.
Amphitheaters were always equipped with a sophisticated flooding and drainage system in order to flush the blood and excrements out of the place.
Naumachiae were held on natural lakes or on specially dug up ones. It seems the average size was 400 X 600 meters/yards.
