Countdown to Murder
- fabulous idea
It would be a fabulous idea to recreate the last 30 days of Caesar, keeping in line the theme of next month.
- This is a wonderful idea, Heraklia
I'll see what I can add from Cicero's letters at that time, if any. I might also suggest that we carry on to examine the immediate aftermath of Caesar's assassination.
- OK, we'll start with original sources on the Ides of February, 44 BC!
It's not perfectly clear in Suetonius or Plutarch what occurred between, say, January, 44 BC and March, but we'll do our best!! Check it out on "Dictatorship, Conspiracy and Death!"
- I think it would be fun, too
And also very instructive, as long as you do it!
- I think it would be fun to do a diary . . . .
of Caesar's last days. Watch for them in the next month!
